1. Overview

SaaSearch (“saasearch.io”, “we”, or “us”) is an independent directory and discovery platform for indie SaaS products. We value transparent metrics and are committed to protecting the privacy of visitors, makers, and product buyers.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us when interacting with our platform:

• Account & Maker Profiles: When you sign in or claim a listing, we store your profile information (display name, username/handle, avatar URL, and bio).
• Product Submissions: Information provided during submission including product name, tagline, description, tech stack, website URL, and self-reported metrics.
• Verified Revenue Data (Phase 3+): When connecting via Stripe Connect, read-only monthly recurring revenue (MRR) and active subscriber counts are fetched to generate verified badges. We never store credit card numbers, customer PII, or full transaction ledgers.
• Activity Data: Upvotes and comments created under your authenticated session.

3. How We Use Information

We use the collected information solely to:

• Operate the discovery engine, rankings, search filters, and product detail pages.
• Display verified trust badges and creator track records.
• Prevent fraudulent upvoting and spam submissions.
• Send transactional notifications (e.g. ranking updates, comments) if opted in.

4. Third-Party Services & Cookies

We use Supabase for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking pixels or sell user data to advertising brokers. Product icons and external links route to third-party maker domains, which operate under their own respective privacy policies.

5. Data Retention & Rights

Makers can request deletion or modification of their listings or profiles at any time. For questions, data export, or deletion requests, please contact feedback@saasearch.io.
