Quality Standards
Submission Guidelines
What we look for when reviewing product listings.
1. Eligibility Criteria
To ensure high discovery value, submitted products must satisfy the following:
- Live & Functional: The product must have a working landing page and an active web app, API, mobile app, or downloadable binary. Coming-soon waitlists with no product details are deferred.
- Software / Digital Tool: SaaS, micro-SaaS, developer tool, open-source utility, API, or AI-powered web product. No marketing agencies, consultancy services, or generic blogs.
- Independent / Bootstrapped: Primarily designed for indie hackers, solopreneurs, and bootstrapped teams.
2. Listing Quality & Assets
- Tagline: 10 to 160 characters describing what the product actually does. Avoid hype buzzwords (“revolutionary”, “game-changing”).
- Screenshots: Provide 1 to 5 crisp screenshots of the real user interface. No generic stock photography.
- Tech Stack: List real technologies used (e.g. Next.js, Postgres, Tailwind, Python) to enable stack-based search.
3. Financial Transparency
Self-reported MRR is welcomed but strictly optional. If provided, numbers must be truthful. Inflated or deceptive figures will lead to listing rejection or removal.
4. Review Process
All submissions enter our manual review queue to ensure consistency and quality. Approvals typically take 24–48 hours.
